The educational model (live) and its effect on the acquisition of additional learning, performance stability, and retention of the kinetic sequence of low start sprints for athletics

AUTHOR(S): Firas Talaat Hussain
ABSTRACT:
The research problem is the neglect of proper learning of technical performance, as well as the failure to make decisions regarding the movement sequence for the low start. This was evident from the students' physical education class appearance. The research objective was to investigate the use of the (live) model in acquiring additional learning, performance stability, and retention of the movement sequence for the low start of sprint races in track and field for middle school students. The researcher used the experimental method, and the research population was deliberately selected, comprising 76 fourth-grade middle school students. The research sample was randomly selected from the research population and divided into two groups: an experimental group and a control group, each comprising 25 students. Pre- and post-tests and retention tests were conducted. The most important conclusion was that the live model used had a significant impact due to its field experience in track and field. It helped the experimental group develop technical performance at all stages of the low start in track and field races effectively, outperforming the control group.
