Effect of (Internal-external) feedback using computer to learn starting and axial rotation skills of freestyle swimming

AUTHOR(S): Ammar Nasser Hayat
ABSTRACT:
The research aims tornidentify the effect of both types (internal-external) feedback using therncomputer in learning the performance of the skills of starting and rotatingrnaxial swimming freestyle, and the differences between the two types ofrn(internal-external) feedback using the computer in learning the performance ofrnthe skills of starting and rotating the axial swimming freestyle. Thernresearcher used the experimental method to suit the nature of the research. Thernresearch sample was selected randomly and by (50%) from the original researchrncommunity, and by lottery, and by (12) learners, they were divided into twornequal experimental groups, and by (6) learners for each group, the first grouprnlearns the skills of starting and rotating pivot by swimming freestyle in thernmanner of internal feedback (without the presence of the swimming teacher) Thernsecond group learns the skills of starting and rotating pivot free swimmingrn(the presence of a swimming teacher) and the educational curriculum was appliedrnto the two groups and the application of the curriculum took (4) weeks by Tworneducational units per week, the duration of each educational unit is (90)rnminutes. After collecting and unpacking, the researcher conducted statisticalrnprocessing and concluded the following during his study:
The researcher concluded during his researchrnexperiment that the use of the computer with external feedback (the presence ofrnthe swimming teacher) contributed significantly to understanding the detailedrnparts of the skill (technical performance) better than using it with internalrnfeedback (without the presence of the swimming teacher). The educationalrncurriculum used by the computer provided the learner with the possibility of arnbetter mental perception of the technical performance of the skills of startingrnand turning axial freestyle.
