A study on effect of yogic practices on stress Among women students

ABSTRACT:
The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of yogic practices on stress among women students. To achieve the purpose of the study thirty (N=30) women students are selected from Bharathiar University, Coimbatore. Their age ranged between 19-25 years. The following variables were selected after a deep study on review of literatures journals and books. The Selected psychological variable stress was treated as Yogic practices in this study. Selected subjects were divided into two equal groups consist of 15 each. The group I (n=15) was considered as experimental group and group II (n=15) was considered as control group. Experimental group under wend given yogic practices for period of eight weeks. The control group was not given any treatment. Descriptive statistics was used to analyze the data collected from the subjects of women students. The data collected from the subjects was analyzed by used ‘t’ ratio to find out difference if any 0.05 level of confidence.
