The effect of a multi-level, self-directed and guided application method on developing some complex offensive skills for basketball students

ABSTRACT:
The purpose of this paper is to preparing an educational curriculum using the two methods of directed and self-multiple application in developing some complex offensive skills for basketball students, identifying the effect of an educational curriculum using the two methods (directed and self-multiple application) in developing some complex offensive skills for basketball students, and identifying the superiority of the effect of the two methods of directed and self-multiple application in developing some complex offensive skills for basketball students. The researcher used the experimental method with the experimental design method. The research community was determined as fourth-year students / College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences / University of Diyala - for the academic year (2023-2024) with a number of (135) student. As for the research sample, it was selected randomly, and its number reached (60) students divided into three groups. One of the most important results reached by the researcher is that: The teaching methods of the three research groups (multi-level self-directed application - the method followed by the teacher) had a positive impact on developing some complex offensive skills for basketball students, and the multi-level method achieved superiority in developing some complex offensive skills for basketball students when compared to other methods. One of the most important recommendations recommended by the researchers is that: Using teaching methods (multi-level self-directed application) in developing some complex offensive skills for basketball students.
