AUTHOR(S): Kawthar Hussein Abd
ABSTRACT:
Volleyball is one of the most important popular games, as it is a game of great popularity in most countries of the world, as it is played by both sexes and different ages, healthy and disabled, as it took its own form in terms of its abilities, performance style, and unique legal characteristics. The research is significant because it applies the Keller model to educational units and determines the degree to which it influences students' motivation to play and acquire serving and receiving techniques in volleyball. As a result, the researcher recommended applying the Keller model. Consequently, the researcher thinks it affects how well the skills are learned. under study to overcome difficulties and the most important goals are to identify the effect of Keller model-based teaching units on performance motivation and the acquisition of serving and receiving abilities. The approach taken depends on the nature of the issue. Thus, by creating experimental and control groups with pre- and post-tests, the researcher employed the experimental technique. Given this, the researcher used a straightforward random approach (lottery) to select the primary research sample, which consisted of 24 students split into two groups (experimental and control), totaling (12). For every group, a student. The most important conclusions: The Keller model contributed significantly and effectively to skill development and learning by stimulating the student and achieving self-actualization. This model relies on the student's speed in self-learning the skill. This trait develops the student's sense of self-reliance and satisfaction with their motor performance, and how it contributes to their sense of self-worth, especially in sports. The most important recommendations: It is necessary to use the Keller model to develop athletic skills in all sports, especially volleyball, due to its clear and tangible impact, as demonstrated by the research results.
