Yoga for mental and physical health

ABSTRACT:
Yoga is gaining popularity throughout the world due to its effect. Yoga has its effect on various factors of mental and physical health. It is observed that some physical problems can either be controlled or cured by application of Yoga. Similarly some yogic practices like pranayam and meditation as its effects on the mental part of human being. Different school of yoga has their different paths which help to control mental faculty. Eight limbs of yoga has its effects on the moral codes, self-discipline, posture promotion of life force, sensory transcendence, concentration, meditation and ultimately state of bless. It has its effect on the ability to face and solved problems, on selection of correct alternative which leads to fulfillment of contentment and happiness. Yoga helps to cope up stress reduces fatigue, depression and anxiety which are the common factor related to mental and physical health. Asana is such a practice which helps to develop physical fitness that ultimately helps to develop mental health.
