Evaluation of cardio vascular endurance between urban and rural school girls

ABSTRACT:
The objective of this study was to “Evaluation of Cardio Vascular Endurance between Urban and Rural School Girls”. To achieve the aim of the study, data was collected on a total of 40 school girls (Twenty urban girls and twenty rural girls) from Hanumangarh Rajasthan. For this study 14-15 years girls were selected. To examine the level of cardiovascular endurance (through Harvard Step Test) in recruited subjects. To compare variables between Urban and Rural school girls mean, standard deviation and t-test were employed with the help of statistical procedure. To test the hypothesis the significance level was set at 0.05 percent. The result showed that there was an insignificant difference in cardiovascular endurance between Urban and Rural school girls.
