ABSTRACT: This study aimed to investigate sports anxiety among football players from NSUT and IGIPESS, aged 18 to 25 years. The sample consisted of 40 players, with 20 from each institution. The (SAS-2) was employed to gauge trait anxiety in terms of worry, concentration disruption, and somatic anxiety. A descriptive and comparative research design was employed to analyze differences between the two groups. SD and mean were computed for descriptive statistics and the significance level for the independent sample "t" test was set at 0.05. The p-value of 0.92 in the data suggested that there was no discernible difference in concern between the two groups, well above the 0.05 threshold. Similarly, no significant differences were found in somatic anxiety (p=0.40) and concentration disruption (p=0.91) between the IGIPESS and NSUT football players. Overall, the findings suggest that the institution attended did not significantly influence the levels of sports anxiety in the players. It was hypothesized that there will be insignificant difference between IGIPESS and NSUT Football Players.
