Effects of varied integrated modules of yogic practices on respiratory rate among middle aged women

ABSTRACT:The purpose of the study was to ascertain how different integrated yoga practice modules affected middle-aged women's respiratory rates. For the study, only Sixty (n=60) women from the Sivagangai District and its surrounding areas were selected. The age range for the group was 35 to 55. Asanas (N=15), Surya Namaskar (N=15), Combined Asana & Surya namaskar (n=15) and Control Group (N=15) made comprised Group III. Three equal groups of fifteen participants each were created out of the subjects. The course met three days a week for a total of twelve weeks. All it took was a 45-minute training session. Group III was the control group and was not given any special instructions. Respiratory rate used to Measure In seconds. The Experimental and Control groups provided the data. Use Analysis of Covariance (ANCOVA) and the dependent "t" test for statistical analysis. It was determined that the corrected post-test means' "F" ratio was statistically significant. Every instance was subjected to a predetermined degree of confidence of 0.05.
