ABSTRACT:
The purpose of the present study was survey of Sports Infrastructures and sports professionals in nursing colleges of Bhopal. In order to select subjects for this study a list of approved institutions/ Colleges of nursing of Bhopal was taken from the Madhya Pradesh science university Jabalpur and Madhya Pradesh nursing registration council Bhopal for the session 2021-22. Out of 508 institution/ Colleges of nursing of Universities only ten from Bhopal were randomly selected as the institutions of nursing for the research study. The information obtained from the responses of questionnaires was carefully and systematically compiled for data analysis. Percentage analysis with frequencies and mean were calculated for meaningful presentation of the surveyed information. The survey results revealed that none of the institution of nursing of Bhopal fulfills the norms as laid down sports infrastructure and prescribed sports facilities, these institution conducting various courses like ANM, GNM, post basic B.Sc., M Sc. PH.D. Program me in the field of nursing. The survey results also revealed inadequacies infrastructure of sports facilities in all the colleges of nursing of Bhopal.
