ABSTRACT:
Research into the potential negative factors associated with high-level athletic performance is now being conducted in many parts of the world. Most of the valuable psychological insights into the emotional constituents that influence athletic achievement are based upon depth studies of a select number of individuals who have sought Counseling.

The success-phobia syndrome has a number of common elements, each of which individually or all of which collectively could produce emotional reactions to inhibit or interfere with top physical efficiency.
