Performance analysis of 1st “Khelo India†national school games kabaddi championship

ABSTRACT:
The aim of the present paper is to analyze the performance of national Kabddi boys and girls teams, participated in “1st Khelo India†National Championship 2018, Held at New Delhi recently. A total eight (08) Kabaddi under 17 boys and Girls teams namely Himachal Pradesh, Maharashtra, Karnataka, Haryana, Delhi, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, West Bengal, Utter Pradesh, have been participated in the first Khelo India Tournaments. The analysis was made with the results obtained after completion of the championship and published on the website. The Kabaddi event was taken as the subject of analysis for the study. The result analysis shows Delhi was found the most outstanding performer in sports stood on third position in overall sports ranking of any state. Whereas Himachal Pradesh stood on 20th place in the medal tally among all other total (N=35) states which clearly indicates that Delhi is the top third state deserves the winner ship of kabaddi game in boys section.
